The American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting & Exposition
Although FCSL is not attending, we would like to highlight The American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting & Exposition December 7-10, 2019 at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), Orlando, FL.
ASH is a global network of more than 17,000 hematologists from nearly 100 countries, working to conquer blood diseases. Flow cytometry features prominently in the ASH program as both an important diagnostic tool, and for monitoring treatment in prognosis in a number of hematologic disorders (a quick search found 871 oral and poster presentations featuring flow cytometry). Applications include new methods for MRD detection, divergent findings of blast identification between flow cytometry and cytomorphology, identification of circulating plasma cells in Multiple Myeloma, measurement of T cell exhaustion, measurement of absolute counts of classical monocyte (CD14+/CD16-) as a prognostic marker in CMML, the characterization of Tumor associated T cells, and monitoring the therapeutic response for multiple drug development programs.
FCSL is a CRO that supports non-clinical (GLP and non-GLP), and clinical flow cytometry studies by providing Immunophenotyping, Receptor Occupancy, Cross-reactivity studies, biomarker assays, and the development, qualification and validation of assays for cell therapies and large molecules small molecules.
